So knitsome … So knit some 

I rarely sit with idle fingers. Travelling, waiting, chatting, watching, listening. If I can focus on what’s around me, and it’s not socially inappropriate to do so, then I might well knit.

I learnt to knit as a child of nine or ten, did a bit and then dropped it. I picked it up again as a teenager, did a bit and dropped it (repeat several times).

Many years later, on my return to Europe, I started again when I joined an international English-speaking women’s group*. This time I didn’t stop…
