More socks? Yes! More socks!

Another pair of socks! Well I couldn’t help but knit these seeing as this ball of loveliness was given to me by a good friend after I’d helped her get addicted to learn how to knit socks! (If you’re interested, or have time on your hands, you can read more here.)

I love the colour of these socks. The pattern (Ein Hauch von Nichts) was interesting enough to not be boring and it works well with the short colour changes of the yarn. Perfect! I probably should have made these a bit longer (the camera angle makes them look shorter than they are!). I start socks at the toes and get impatient once I’ve done all the fancy turning-the-heel bit!) but it means I still have enough left to combine with a contrasting colour for another pair! 🙂

This friend will be returning to the US later in the year so I can see me wearing these a lot in her absence.
