I’ve been doing some swatching and trying out various stitch patterns Knitting sample crosses Knitting sample twisted stitches Long knitting sample textures I’m hoping to get some knitting done on a three-hour coach trip to and from a workshop. I finally decided that simple stripes would be best after all! sock toe on double-pointed needles

Good decision on simple stripes. I don’t like it when a stitch pattern disappears in the variegated yarn.

  Thanks! It was easier to use the mac camera than get out my own so that meant finding a way of holding up the sock. I could’ve zoomed in more but I kind of liked the sticks!
